Presence
You may already understand the pattern. The question is whether a different experience has become possible.
You are not broken; you are adapting. Coaching helps you notice what your system learned to do automatically, understand what it protects and develop enough presence, support and choice for another response to become possible. Available in person or online.

My coaching is informed by the Integral Unfoldment paradigm developed by Steve March and taught through Aletheia. We begin by making fuller contact with your present experience and treating protective patterns as intelligent adaptations rather than defects.
Together, we may work with:
- emotional and relational patterns
- self-trust, discernment, boundaries and choice
- grief, purpose and life transitions
- remaining present with a wider range of feeling
- responding with less force, shame and automatic protection
When the old way stops working.
You may be burned out, scattered or unable to keep living by force.
You may be facing a major decision about work, relationship, purpose or the shape of your life.
You may understand your patterns clearly, but still feel unable to move differently when it matters.
You may feel disconnected from your body, your desire, your center or your own quieter knowing.
You may live with a harsh inner voice that confuses pressure with devotion.
You may be looking for deeper meaning, more confidence, more discipline, more creativity or a more honest relationship with your life.
You may not need advice as much as a steady place to listen for what is already trying to become clear.
Coaching testimonials
Practical change, grounded in attention.
“What Tommy was really good at was spotting my thinking patterns early on. But it wasn't just pointing them out—he'd give me concrete examples and actual daily practices I could use. Those were the actual practices I needed, not just the theoretical bits. He helped me become more present in my own thinking, paying attention to what I truly feel and believe instead of just what I say. I walked away understanding myself better and with actual tools I can use.”
“I've really enjoyed working with Tommy. His calm, gentle demeanour is grounding and supportive. I found the parts work awkward at first, but as I grew less embarrassed and more creative, I found it extremely useful in reducing anxiety and seeing unconscious beliefs that were limiting me. Tommy's style of coaching has been much more helpful to me than coaching that simply gives advice or homework—I typically don't do the homework or follow through with that style. What I really value about this approach is its focus on recognizing, accepting and integrating parts of myself. That unlocked far bigger change for me.”

Begin with a free conversation.
Start with a free 20-minute consultation by Google Meet. We can talk about what is bringing you here, what you hope will change and whether working together feels useful.
Sessions are conversational and experiential. We may slow down a live question, notice what happens in the body or work with different parts of your experience. The work is shaped around what becomes useful in the moment rather than a formula or generic homework.
Ongoing coaching is available in Berkeley or online. We will agree on session length, cadence and a sliding-scale fee before beginning, so expectations are clear.
Trauma-informed, not therapy.
My approach is not psychotherapy, diagnosis or clinical trauma treatment.
It is, however, deeply trauma-informed. I understand protective patterns as intelligent adaptations, not personal failures. We work slowly, collaboratively and with respect for the nervous system’s pace.
The aim is not to force a breakthrough but to create enough safety, contact and clarity for a different response to become possible.
